United Airlines plans to add the fare type “Base” to United First® and United Business® as of fall 2026. Earlier this year, United added this fare to United Polaris® and United Premium Plus®.
United First and United Business currently offer a Standard and Flexible fare. The new Base fare will include:
- Seat selection (for a fee)
- One checked bag
- One carry-on bag
- Access to the United Club (United Business only)
The Base fare will not permit flight changes or refunds.
