Southwest Airlines has announced that it will cease operations at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) beginning June 4th, 2026. Travelers with existing bookings on or after June 4th may rebook to alternative airports or request a refund.
Flights scheduled to operate before June 4th will not be impacted.
